2. Website hosting

This website is hosted on our own physical server in Germany. When you visit, technical data such as your IP address, time of access, requested page, referrer, browser, and operating system may be processed temporarily in server logs. This is necessary to deliver, maintain, and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and reliable website.

3. Checkout and license validation

Purchases are completed on Polar, operated by Polar Software, Inc., 3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, United States. Polar acts as merchant of record and processes the contact, billing, payment, tax, and order data required for the purchase under its own responsibility. When you redeem a license key, we send the key and the required validation data to Polar to verify it and record its single use. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for delivery of the purchased content and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for fraud prevention. We do not store the key in our own database. See Polar's Privacy Policy.

4. Email contact

If you email us, we process your email address, message, and any information you provide to answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual requests and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. We delete the data when the request is resolved unless statutory retention duties apply.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising tools, user accounts, newsletters, or non-essential cookies.

6. Retention and your rights

We retain personal data only for as long as required for the stated purpose or by law. Subject to the applicable requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. You may contact us at the address above and lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, including the Baden-Württemberg authority at baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de.

Wallpaper license terms

These terms apply to wallpapers offered by noweb through Oilpaper.

1. Purchase and license

Polar is the merchant of record for the purchase. Payment, taxes, invoices, and refunds are governed by Polar's Buyer Terms. Corinna Kimmerle-Muffler, trading as noweb, grants the product license described below.

2. Permitted personal use

One valid license key grants one individual a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use one selected wallpaper as a background on devices owned or controlled by that individual. You may crop or resize it for this purpose and keep private backup copies.

3. Restrictions

You may not share, publish, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or make the wallpaper available to others. Commercial, promotional, editorial, merchandise, template, stock, and other revenue-generating uses are not permitted. Modified versions remain subject to these restrictions.

4. Delivery

Each key can be redeemed for one wallpaper and one successful download. Save the downloaded file and any private backup yourself. If a technical failure prevents delivery, contact team@noweb.app.

5. Copyright and consumer rights

All copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with the respective rights holder. No ownership rights are transferred. Mandatory consumer rights and statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

6. Withdrawal

Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal. For digital content supplied immediately, that right only expires after the consumer expressly consents to performance before the withdrawal period ends, acknowledges the resulting loss of the right, and receives the legally required confirmation. Polar handles the checkout and purchase-related withdrawal or refund requests.

7. Applicable law

German law applies to this license. Mandatory protections of the consumer's country of residence remain unaffected.
